Since the last newsletter edition in October 2025, additional video interviews have been published. They highlight the wide range of ways AI can be used in higher education and the key competencies that instructors and students need in order to engage with it effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>KIKomp \u2013 meet the Experts<\/em>: Opportunities, Challenges, and Ethical Questions in Using AI in Teaching<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In this series, experts discuss fundamental questions related to AI, including legal frameworks, ethical challenges, and the role of data and media literacy.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newly released:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/jurhptSfmuk\"><strong>Prof. Dr. Rudolf Kammerl<\/strong> I Why we need to reflect on AI in media education<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With this contribution, the series expands its range of topics to include the media education classification of generative language models, their didactic integration into university teaching and teacher training, and critical reflection on their limitations, misconceptions, and social impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>KIKomp \u2013 Good Practice<\/em>: Neue Lehr- und Lernwege in Zeiten von KI <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Good Practice series illustrates how AI can practically transform teaching and learning processes \u2014 from developing learning materials to providing feedback and designing innovative assessment formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Newly released:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lehre.fau.de\/%f0%9f%8e%a5-ki-als-co-creator-effiziente-materialerstellung-und-reflektierter-ki-einsatz-in-programmierung-und-abschlussarbeiten-foerdern\/\"><strong>Prof. Dr. -Ing.
