How can Artificial Intelligence (AI) support educators? What opportunities does it offer for innovative teaching and learning processes—and where are its limitations?
These questions are explored by the FAU Competence Center Education through two new video series that offer exciting insights into current developments around AI competence in higher education teaching.

In the series “KIKomp – Meet the Experts”, experts discuss the opportunities, challenges, and ethical questions surrounding the use of AI in education.
The interviews highlight how AI can transform teaching and learning processes—and how educators can integrate it thoughtfully into their course designs.

The series “KIKomp – Good Practice” presents hands-on examples from digital higher education. FAU educators share how AI is transforming their work and opening up new learning pathways.

Currently, eight video interviews have been released across both formats.

New interviews will be published every two weeks—offering further inspiring insights and deeper perspectives on AI in higher education teaching.
