Offers for lecturers regarding the ‘Freiraum 2027’ project funding line
Lecturers have an increasing number of opportunities to apply for funding for university teaching projects. For example, the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre (StIL) has been inviting applications for its Freiraum projects. This funding programme supports the development and implementation of innovative teaching ideas and projects. There is no specific thematic or subject focus. StIL is looking for projects that demonstrate innovative potential. The next round of funding is expected to be announced by mid-January 2026.
In our online information event (in German) on 27 January 2026, you will learn the most important information about the funding criteria and modalities of the Freiraum projects and gain insights from an expert. Of course, you will also have time to ask your questions.
In our ideas workshop (in German) on 3 February 2026, we offer FAU university lecturers the opportunity to develop, discuss and elaborate their own innovative project ideas for funding lines. Peer and expert feedback on your own project outline rounds off the face-to-face workshop.
