Starting in the summer semester 2026, the certificate programme of the DAAD-funded project FIT 4 FAU is launched. This voluntary programme supports international students in building skills for living, studying and careers in Germany.
The modular programme covers five areas: Language, Work & Career, Orientation & Studying at FAU, Intercultural Competence, and Elective Modules. It combines a compulsory track with freely selectable activities, ensuring a broad range of topics is covered.
Participants benefit from improved academic orientation, practical insights into the German labour market, enhanced language skills, and strengthened intercultural competence. Upon successful completion, students receive the official FIT 4 FAU Certificate.
