AI in Higher Education: Video interviews from the KI-Komp project online
AI in Higher Education – practical, interdisciplinary, and to the point: The KI-Komp project presents two new video series that showcase how AI can be meaningfully integrated into university teaching – with real examples, experiences, and expert insights.
Since April 2024, the project KI-Komp – AI Competence in Digital Education is being implemented at FAU. It supports both teachers and students in using AI applications in higher education in a reflective and competent manner. The project focuses on a use case-oriented approach based on practical scenarios and aims to facilitate transfer across different disciplines and teaching contexts.
As part of the project, two video series featuring interviews with university teachers are being produced:
- Meet the Expert: Experts provide insights into key topics related to the use of AI in teaching and learning – from didactics and assessment formats to ethical and legal considerations.
- Good Practice: Lecturers from various disciplines share concrete examples of how AI tools are already being effectively integrated into teaching and reflect on their experiences.
The video series are aimed at lecturers, higher education didactics professionals, and anyone looking for inspiration for their own teaching or wanting to keep up with current developments in AI and higher education. The first interviews are already online, with more to follow in the coming weeks and months.
