FAU Education awarded funding from the Innovation Fund Teaching
Since 2016, FAU has offered the Innovation Fund for Teaching, a funding program that supports innovative initiatives in university teaching and learning. We at FAU Education are excited that our project “SCALE-UP: Enhancing Student Success through Curricular Adaptation and Teaching Development – Universal and Practice-Oriented” is receiving support from this fund. The project focuses on promoting student success in an increasingly diverse student body with a wide range of learning needs and preferences.
Together with lecturers, Dr. Uwe Fahr and Anna-Katharina Scholz aim to develop subject-specific teaching concepts that adapt proven educational strategies, such as adaptive learning, peer teaching, and research-based learning to individual disciplinary contexts. The concepts will be tested in actual teaching environments and further developed in collaboration with students. The resulting teaching patterns will be integrated into the training program at FAU Education.
Do you teach at FAU and would you like to develop a concept with us? Then we look forward to hearing from you!
